Surfdale & Oneroa Country Women’s Institute (AMALGAMATED)

Sometime in the 1970s, the Surfdale and Oneroa Institutes merged, which resulted in the creation of a new banner. Again, the records held say nothing of when it was made or who was involved. However, a note the Museum’s accession register says the bird is a “thrush”. But, whether that was what the artist had intended or simply the interpretation of the museum volunteer who entered the item in the register is unknown.
